Case Study : SA Water Blue Lakes Pumping Station

Working with major utility companies like SA Water means that our teams have the opportunity to work in  a variety of locations all around the country — some of which are simply stunning and showcase the best of what Australia has to offer.

As part of FITT Resources’ work at the Blue Lakes Pumping Station, Jonathan Rogers and Riaan van der Merwe were tasked with the site commissioning and decommissioning of the pumps.

This also included Jon sharing his experience and expertise with the SA Water team, instructing them on how to install a VTP and fit a Chesterton split mechanical seal.

Jon is a senior site installer who has worked his way up through the ranks after starting out at FITT Resources as an apprentice, while Riaan is new to the team, having moved to Australia from South Africa. This is a great example of the wide ranging experience and the diverse people who make up Diploma Australian Seals’ workforces across the country.
