Rob Rosier Joins FITT Resources as Technical Manager
FITT Resources is delighted to welcome Rob Rosier as its new Technical Manager.
Based at our Reliability Centre in Lisarow, Rob joined the FITT Resources team in September 2019 and brings with him a wealth of experience in a range of areas associated with turbomachinery engineering, including pump hydraulics and component design.
Rob has a Master’s degree in Engineering from University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (UTS), and has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of pump testing, design, condition assessment and commissioning, as well as CMMs operation (coordinate-measuring machines) for component QA review and reverse engineering.
Speaking about the new role at FITT Resources, Rob said that one of the things that attracted him to the company was its approach to customers.
“In the relatively short time that I’ve been here, I’ve seen the potential that FITT Resources has to get more done and more quickly than is often the case with bigger organisations. The business is set up to respond to what our customers need, which means we can help them more quickly,” Rob said.
According to FITT Resources Director Jason Lynch, the company’s already growing engineering capabilities have been further enhanced with the addition of Rob to the team.
“We’re extremely pleased to have someone with Rob’s experience and expertise on board,” he said. “He brings to us considerable abilities in the engineering and design of turbo machinery and rotating equipment, which means we can provide an even better service to our customers.
“Rob’s appointment is also a sign of the significant expansion the company has undergone in terms of its human and intellectual resources, to go along with the growth in our workshop facilities and representation across the country.”
