Case Study : Sydney Water Pump Station Overhauls

The FITT Resources Sydney Team recently completed the last install and commissioning of the pumps, motors and vales from a Sydney Water Pump station at Prospect.

The seven unit overhaul/maintenance plan commenced on 25 January 2022 and was completed on 23 November 2023, and will ensure that this pump station will be operational for a further 10 years.

Each of the ‘streams’ (which consist of inlet gate valve, pump, motor, check valve, control valve and discharge gate valve) were removed by the Sydney Team, the motors overhauled by a sub-contractor, with all other equipment overhauled by the Lisarow Team. All equipment was then installed and commissioned by the Sydney Team.
